The Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies provides a strong introductory grounding in the discipline of theology, through the lens of the Catholic intellectual tradition.

It is suitable for you if you have an undergraduate degree in another discipline, are seeking professional development for a career in a Catholic or other Christian or faith-based organisation or wish to pursue a specific interest in theology.

Successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies qualifies you for admission into the Graduate Diploma in Theological Studies, Master of Theological Studies.

Articulation arrangements

Those completing the Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies may articulate into the Graduate Diploma in Theological Studies and the Master of Theological Studies.

All costs are calculated using current rates and are based on a full-time study load of 40 credit points (normally 4 units) per semester.

A student’s annual fee may vary in accordance with:

  • the number of units studied per semester;
  • the choice of major or specialisation; and
  • elective units.

The University reviews fees annually.
